As if the time goes by this fast and I have been on this earth for 24 years. Time flies when you are figuring out life. I decided to wear this figure fitting navy blue dress to celebrate me. I started my healthy lifestyle journey six years ago and lost over 60 pounds. My self esteem was not the best and I was very shy. As the years went by through the ups and downs I hav been learning to love myself and my body while understanding what makes me confident, happy and comfortable with my self. This dress celebrates my journey and what more to come in the near future.
This dress is designed by ABS and it is from Rent Frock and Repeat. The sheer lace gives this dress so many layers and detailing. I love the detailed floral lace. With the cinched waist, I was able to feel comfortably supported in this dress while defining my hips which I love. This dress is great for a cocktail, Christmas party or even as a brides maid dress. The navy blue color allows this dress to play in various occasions.
With the holiday season just around the corner it makes me so excited for all the family and friend gathering that I will be attending. One thing is for sure, sometimes finding a outfit or three for all your gathers can be stressful and sometimes I will spend hours at the mall going from store to store, struggling to find a look that I like to wear to the next reunion.
This gold sparkly number from Rent Frock and Repeat is perfect to wear for a Christmas party or a fancy wine and cheese event with the girls. Rent Frock and Repeat allows you to borrow the latest designer dresses for a special event that you need to a event for not event a fraction of the cost. It allows you to have a endless closet without taking up all the room in your closet and making a hole in your wallet.
I love how this beautiful dress is figure fitting however not too much so where you can’t have a food baby.. The best part is the back detailing. I love the big scoop at the back it really gives a sexy touch to this classy look.
I then added my simple black shoes from Call it Spring. I wanted all the attention to be on the dress so I kept the shoes as simple as possible.
