Fall is finally here in Canada’s capital which means cozying up to cute coffee shops, leaves changing color and comfy oversized sweaters. Fall also means plaid is back!
I have had this dress for ages, however, I always tend to come back to it once the seasons change. It is a great staple that really never gets out of style. This dress is from Zara ( yes my whole closet is from there). The silver zipper detail along the collar and the front of the dress gives a simple yet detailed touch to a basic red plaid dress.
I then paired it with this faux fur suede vest that is also from Zara. This vest is like having a teddy bear cuddle you all day. Not only is it stylish it is super warm. I probably layer with this vest 4 out of the 7 days of the week one way or another. The contrast of textures really gives a perfect touch to the overall look.
For accessories kept is simple since the outfit on its own it quite details. I added these gold trim aviator glasses from H&M that gives a sophisticated touch along with my classic closed toes shoes from Call it Spring to keep it basic.
