Finding bathing suits, as mentioned before, can be challenging for my curvy body and it is hard to find bathing suit lines that consider that woman have curves. When visiting Sona Clothing in Ottawa, Gemma, the owner of Sona Clothing, was determined to change my doubtful expectations on bathing suit shopping.
She gave me many top styles for my body type, monokini ( it’s the white one I did a blog post about earlier), underwire top and a halter. As I tried all of them I was amazed by how well they all fit and for the first time instead of asking myself which one fits me, which one do I like the most (which was not easy because I loved all of them). She then directed me to try a triangle. As many of you with bigger chest know, triangle bathing suits are a busty woman’s worst nightmare, however, Gemma said that she recommended it to a family member that also was my size and it fit like a glove. I then put it on and let me tell you all, I was ready to go to Copacabana and show off this cute Brazilian bathing suit. I felt so sexy, so confident and most importantly probably one of the most supportive tops that I tried. It was that bathing suit that made my decision that much easier.
So here it is! This amazing olive color bathing suit is from Vitamine A, a surfer inspired bathing suit line based in California. Their styles are amazing and colors are classic. I have also never felt a bathing suit with such amazing quality. The top has the peak a boo hole detailing at the top and the bottoms are a cheeky Brazilian bottom (great for minimizing tan lines) I then accompanied this bathing suit with my Porsche aviator mirror sunglasses from Point of View Optician.
I definitely suggest going to Sona Clothing Ottawa as they have various sizes for all body types, petite, curvy and plus size. They also support a lot of Canadian brands which as a Canadian fashion blogger, I always love to see that. Don’t live in Canada or Ottawa? There is a website at www.sonaclothing.ca
