I love wearing bathing suits, especially since I love traveling to warm places and find every excuse to go somewhere warm and enjoy the beach. Being a woman that has a bigger chest and small waist it is hard to find bathing suits. Either the cup is too small or the waist is too big. Countless times going into a change room with 5 sometimes 10 different bathing suit and there’s always something uncomfortable about it. This is why I was drawn to collaborating with Sona Clothing.
Gemma, the Founder of Sonia Clothing, started her business after noticing her daughter was not struggling to find bathing suits that fit her chest. She then decided to take her love for bathing suits and fashion and start her own business that caters to all different body types. Gemma wanted to make a local Ottawa business that allows anyone to feel confident, sexy and comfortable at the beach.
I decided to choose this white monokini designed by a local designer Nora Swimwear. The ruffles and mesh detailing on the sides and straps make this outfit flirty. The support of this bathing suit is amazing. It is able to provide me with the support I need still giving me a modern and classy look on my body. The cut outs make the bathing suit sexy and give the illusion from the back that it is a two-piece bathing suit.
I then paired this outfit with Point of View Optician mirrored sunglasses by Porsche. These glasses are a classic and make me feel unstopable. I love how the metallic finish really brings this look together.
